Why should we stay within boundaries imposed from the outside?
This question lies at the heart of these three sculptural works, created from ink-tinted paper and enclosed in white frames.
The series traces a journey of expanding beyond limitations. In the first piece, the paper cautiously begins to break free from its assigned space—the white frame. In the second, it pushes further outward, forming a cave-like sanctuary: a pause for reflection and reconsideration. Finally, the third sculpture boldly extends into open space, fully embracing its potential.
Each piece captures a distinct phase in the act of pushing beyond constraints—tentative, reflective, and finally, liberated. Together, they invite viewers to consider their own relationship to external boundaries and the spaces they inhabit.
